Midland Hamster Club

The aims of the Midland Hamster Club are to encourage the keeping, breeding and exhibiting of all hamster species to standards defined by the governing body of the Hamster Fancy, the National Hamster Council. We also aim to promote welfare standards and actively partake in public interaction through our shows and displays. We cover Cheshire, Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire (excluding Scunthorpe & Grimsby), Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Rutland, Shropshire,  West Midlands, Warwickshire,  Worcestershire, and all of Wales.

The shows are among the largest in the UK, often consisting upwards of 150 Syrian and 150 other species. We hold shows at hired halls around the midlands throughout the year, and have displays at various fairs around the Midlands during the summer months. The public are welcome at our shows and will find a friendly atmosphere and a helping hand if required with advice on keeping, handling and exhibiting hamsters.
